Very few copies are known of it. Its author is unknown to us as well as the circumstances of its composition and why it did not come to be printed in its entirety.<\/p>\n<p>In our edition we have compiled the description of all existing copies, reproducing the totality of the plates and presenting the critical edition of all the known variants.<\/p>\n<p>Among the contents of the book we can find:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Instructions for <em>accidental<\/em>, <em>estra\u00f1o<\/em> and <em>trav\u00e9s<\/em>\u00a0steps on both sides, as well as <em>curvo<\/em> steps.<\/li>\n<li>Defense and offence, binding the blades inside and outside.<\/li>\n<li>Coutertechniques for the six positions: in addition to the <em>recta<\/em>, <em>obtusa<\/em>, <em>aguda<\/em>\u00a0and <em>remisa<\/em>, it also presents oppositions to the \u00abItalian\u00bb and to the \u00abTurk\u00bb.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation of the <em>Tretas Generales<\/em>, with their corresponding countertechniques.<\/li>\n<li>Explanation of the four ways of removing the sword from a dangerous place.<\/li>\n<li>Counterstrikes for the <em>tajo<\/em>, <em>rev\u00e9s<\/em>, <em>medio tajo<\/em> and <em>medio rev\u00e9s<\/em>, and their diagonals.<\/li>\n<li>Countertechnique for the triangle of first intention.<\/li>\n<li>And some final notes accompanied by questions and answers from some movements.<\/li>\n<li>In addition to our usual bibliographical and critical preliminary study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope it will be useful to all \u00abamateurs\u00bb as its title suggests.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The anonymous\u00a0<em>Libro de Armas y Doctrina<\/em>&#8230;
